Nashville TN & surrounding areas
Mosquito control that gives you the backyard back
One treatment works immediately and lasts 30 days. Repeated on time every month, May through September, it keeps the protection unbroken.
Reducing the population = reducing the risk
Mosquitoes don’t just annoy
They carry diseases, and Middle Tennessee sits inside the range of the Aedes mosquitoes that health officials track. Bringing the population down around your house brings the risk down with it, so you can stop worrying about your family’s health every time they head outside.
And the yard is where people want to be: cookouts, birthday parties, swimming, swing-set time. None of it should get cut short by bites.
With a target-specific mister, your LawnWise specialist treats the harborage areas where mosquitoes live and breed all around the home, in Smyrna, Nashville, Murfreesboro, Franklin and the towns nearby.
The season, month by month
Five visits, May through September
Each one is timed to renew the barrier before the last one wears off.
- May
May or sooner
Your specialist locates the places mosquitoes rest, like doors, awnings and the underside of decks, plus any moist spots, and treats every habitat found. Watching those conducive spaces is what keeps a yard from a mosquito takeover.
- June
June
A spray barrier around the home and all mulched areas to bring the population down, aimed at the activity zones and the breeding areas. New harborage gets checked every visit.
- July
July
Continued treatment around the home for extended protection. The specialist inspects and treats any area he sees as a possible threat.
- Aug
August
The habitats are treated again: a continued plan to hold the population down and hand the backyard back to you.
- Sept
September
One more pass through every mosquito-prone zone, with the barrier renewed wherever it’s needed, so the season ends the way it started.
Between visits
Help the barrier do its job
Standing water is where the next generation hatches. Tip out buckets, saucers and toys after a rain, keep gutters clear and change the birdbath water every few days.
Give each treatment 20 to 30 minutes to dry before the kids and pets go back out. If a storm rolls in before then and washes it off, call us and we will make it right.

Answers
Mosquito control questions
Safety, rain and re-entry times are in the Lawn Care FAQ too.
When does mosquito season start in Middle Tennessee?
LawnWise starts mosquito treatments in May, or sooner when the weather warms early, and treats monthly through September. The first visit locates resting sites and breeding spots; each visit after that renews the barrier before the last one wears off.
Where do mosquitoes hide around a house?
In shade and moisture: around doors, under awnings and decks, in shrubs and mulched beds, and anywhere water sits. The LawnWise specialist finds those resting and breeding sites on the first visit and keeps looking for new activity on every visit after.
Why do mosquito treatments have to be monthly?
Each treatment works immediately and lasts about 30 days. To keep the protection unbroken, it has to be repeated on time every month — that is why LawnWise schedules the visits May through September, each one before the last wears off.
Is there a discount on mosquito control?
Yes. LawnWise takes 10% off its premium packaged lawn care or pest control offers: PestWise, the total pest solution, and CompleteWise, the total lawn and pest solution. Ask which one fits when you schedule your free evaluation.
